My printer isn't printing orders

Most printer problems clear with a restart. Work through these in order.

1. Check paper. If the printer beeped and stopped after running out of paper, load a new roll first, but note the printer often needs a restart after that to clear the jam state (step 2).

2. Restart the printer. Unplug the printer, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in. For Eatabit printers, hold the down button while plugging it back in. Wait for it to finish booting (it prints a short startup slip).

3. Reconnect it to your WiFi. If it's still not printing, it has likely lost its internet connection. Restart your WiFi router (unplug 30 seconds, plug back in). Then, on your phone, open the Eatabit app with Bluetooth turned on (the app needs Bluetooth to find the printer) and reconnect the printer to your WiFi network.

4. Still stuck? We'll come to you. Text or call 518-255-7617. We can check your printer's connection from our side, re-send any missed orders, and if the printer needs attention we'll schedule a visit, often same-day or next morning.

Orders not printing automatically? If orders arrive but only print when you press a button, that's a setting on our side. Text us and we'll turn auto-print on, then send a test.

While your printer is down, don't worry about missing orders: we monitor printer connections and our support team will call new orders in to you until it's back online.
