How pre-orders and scheduled orders reach your kitchen

Customers can place orders for later, whether later today or days ahead. Here's how those reach you, and how to control the timing.

The default: a scheduled order doesn't print the moment the customer places it. It's held and sent to your kitchen closer to the pickup or delivery time, with your prep time factored in, so tickets don't pile up hours before the food should be made.

Want it different? Both of these are one text away (518-255-7617):

See every order the moment it's placed. We can set your account to send all orders immediately, including scheduled ones. Popular with kitchens that prep from the morning's tickets.

Turn off pre-orders entirely. Customers can only order for right now.

A note for busy days: if you sell out early and have pre-orders on the books, call us. We'll help you reach those customers before they show up. And if scheduled tickets seem to fire at the wrong time, tell us your typical prep time so we can tune when orders are released to your kitchen.
